Bathroom remodels, roof leaks traced and sealed, and solar geyser systems installed to cut the biggest single line on your electricity bill.

Water is what quietly destroys a building. A leak that costs a morning to trace and seal turns into a rebuilt ceiling if it is left through a wet season, so we would rather come out early and find it.

On the fittings side we do complete bathroom remodels — strip-out, re-plumb, waterproof, tile and fit — as well as the ordinary work of replacing geysers, mixers, traps and outside taps.

Water heating is normally the single largest item on a South African household's electricity account. An evacuated-tube solar geyser mounted on a north-facing roof plane carries most of that load for most of the year. We install the collector, the tank, the pressure and vacuum breakers and the pipework, and we flash it into the roof properly so the installation does not become the next leak.

Will a solar geyser actually save me money?

Water heating is normally the largest single item on a South African household's electricity account. An evacuated tube system on a north-facing roof plane carries most of that load for most of the year, with the element only topping up on cold or overcast days. We will look at your roof orientation and household size at the site visit and tell you honestly what to expect.

Can you find a leak if I do not know where it is coming from?

Yes. Tracing the leak is its own step — the damp patch on a ceiling is often nowhere near the actual entry point. We find the source first, show you, and then quote the repair.

How long is a bathroom out of action for a full remodel?

A complete strip-out and rebuild typically runs one to two weeks depending on tiling and what has to be re-plumbed. We give you a date range in the quote and tell you as soon as anything changes it.

Do you waterproof flat roofs and box gutters?

Yes — torch-on, acrylic and liquid membrane systems, chosen for the substrate and the fall. Box gutters and parapet junctions are the usual culprits on a flat roof and we detail those properly rather than just coating over them.
